Visit to the birthplace of Portuguese nation - the city of Guimarães. The first capital of Portugal, chosen by our first king, Afonso Henriques. The most credentialed visit will be to the Dukes of Bragança Palace, and to other points of reference in the ancient
centre of this beautiful city.
The tour will continue to Braga, the most ancient religious capital of Portugal. Sameiro and Braga´s Bom Jesus Sanctuary are places that couldn't be avoided. After that, we will go straight to the historical centre and to its magnificent Cathedral. One of the
main references, in the evolution of Portuguese architectural standards. Free time for lunch.
Barcelos will be the next destination - one of the most important references when we advise the Portuguese handicraft, mainly in the area of ceramics - the "Barcelos Rooster" will be to you a reference to follow. We will visit the Historical Centre, the local
Archaeological Museum, and "Nossa Senhora do Terço Church".
A passage at Póvoa de Varzim where you’ll find the local fishermen community, the local Bull Arena and off-course, the Atlantic Ocean.
