Quinta do Passadouro
|
| | |
A good life is like a fine glass of port: it has got to be
enjoyed to the full.
Quinta do Passadouro offers you both.
Just two hours from the lively city of Porto our combination of
tradition, tranquillity and simplicity ripenes to the quality
you deserve.
The seventy acres of vineyard lies in the heart of the
portregion; the surrounding hillsides invite you to go hiking,
biking, swimming or fishing in the Rio Pinhão or just sit back
and relax.
Whatever you choose; on every level of the traditional terraced
hillsides you can enjoy the distant views on the diversity of
crops; grapes of course, but oranges, mandarins, peaches, figs
and nuts as well.
Meanwhile you may visit the characteristic towns in the area:
Vila Real for instance, or Pinhão with it's famous tiled tableau
at the railway station, from where you take the train for a
wonderful trip alongside the Douro; the small museums that tell
of the rich history of the area and the small restaurants where
traditional meals prove how tasty simplicity can be.
At the end of the day you come home. Our terrace is the ideal
place to enjoy a quiet evening with a glass of vintage port or a
fine wine from the quinta.
Open air makes you hungry. Ask for our completely filled picnic
rucksack. Practical and delicious! |
